Scratch Built Hulls

I'm building a Type VII U boat and having trouble with the hull. I'm thinking of conceeding defeat and trying a scratch built hull. Has anyone any built a scratch built Type VII U boat?

Hi Fred,

Although a model boat builder kit and scratch I have never attempted a Submarine but I do know that those who have have usually used a commercially produced kit. Having said that there is a wealth of knowledge on our own Model Boats thread - give it a try and bon chance mon ami.
