Alan,

Thanks for the posting of my favourite Leander.

If I have done it right, 2 shots of my old lady. Now coming to 28 years old.

Hi Medway. Why is 'your old lady' listing to stb. with virtually no sea running, no speed and only a little wheel on? Was she a pig at sea? Rob T

The old girl can roll at times due the weight of the 965 on her main mast. I have Tartar as well which has a photo etched brass 965 rather than a soldered wire one. Weighs half as much.

She's rolling there because the photographer wanted her slow for the shot. So she had been hard into a turn to get into position and then power off.

Like the real thing, the Type 12 hulls are great sea boats. Ratrat is an even better sea boat. No idea how the real class were.

Both are 1/72 and about the same size > 5 foot long.
