Hi there, i joined this forum a few days ago and have been amazed by the response I have had from so many people, thank you to all who have helped in my search. I am still looking for information on a few other ships on which my grandfather, Walter Lee, served as a 2nd class stoker. He was onboard Pembroke from 10.10.1910 -11.12.1910. Lord Nelson 12.12.1910 - 10.01.1912,Pembroke 11.01.1912 - 30.01.1912, Sirius 31.12.1912 - 06.12.1913. The ship after this is illegible on the naval papers and from 03.02.1914 - 31.03.1914 it looks as though the ship was St George (Erne)? There are 2 futher ships that have (Erne) after their name but the ship name is illegible. On 19.06.1915 he moves to Actacon with (TB18) after the name of the ship. TB18 continues but the name of the ship changes until 11.02.1919. Included in this are Latona, St George and I think Cormorant. Can anyone help with any information, we believe that my grandfather was torpedoed at one point and spent a lot of time in the water before he was rescued but we have no idea from which ship or at what time. Thank you so far for your help, I hope to hear more soon.

Jenny

Are you still there?

My GF Arthur Reeve Engine Room Artificer was on the TB18 during the 1st WW. I may have some information that may help you.
