Can I confirm that you want a single person per Excel Sheet

This is fine if it is for "Grandad" where you may have a list of ships (Service Docs).

What about if you have many single individuals with only one record of one ship?

If I have 50 men from 50 different ships couldn't they be placed on the same sheet? If I sent you 50 individual sheets/Files, the thread could soon be overwhelmed, especially if others did the same!

Hi Dave,

Many individuals from many ships was a possibility I had not considered. As you know, most sources are one ship, many men (i.e. a crew losses report) or one man, many ships (i.e. a service record from a relative).

Ideally, each man you have there should have a service template spreadsheet filled out separately, but you could (on this occasion) fill out a crew template spreadsheet and put the name of the ship in one of the 'spare' columns.

I can then work around it from there.
