Here is a world time zone chart for all members.
I was hoping that Kc would make this a sticky.

Quite right. This thread should be locked to stay on top. Why isn't it?

I gather form that a sticky means a sort of important thread that stays in the limelight?
rom:confused:
If that is the case have you a ref for all these little words that creep in Cheers

All I need to know is that England is 7 hours behind me and Australia is 2 or 4 hours ahead. Though I've never understood how it is that the Americans are yesterday.
The Americans are Sooooooo yesterday !
Only joking as they are about the only "friends" us Brits have at the moment, internationally speaking of course.

The Brits have a few more friends than just us "yesterday" Americans! You time zone chart actually is helpful, at least for me. I get confused with which way to set my watch just flying across the US.
By the way, American nuke submarines headed on long patrols reset their on-board clocks to GMT at the right after they dive. Couldn't see the sun so what difference did it make anyway. And it helped us keep messages straight as to when we were supposed to be at a certain point.

We value you posts Subvet. I hope we see more of them.
Your avatar looks good by the way. You got it done.

I had some "professional" instruction to get the avatar and signatures assembled! Thanks Sailor Man.
As an interesting side note, I presently work at a government facility in the American Northwest (Hanford Site) where ironically, the US Navy ships all their decommissioned reactor compartments. So here I am, 36 years after serving on the submarine Greenling and part of my job is to babysit a bunch of reactors among which is the one I tended so many years ago!

I for one would like to hear more about your job Greg. Is it dangerous or potentially dangerous? Are you worried about radiation leaks and stuff?
Tell us more mate.
