I am an amateur naval historian. I've read a fair bit about WW2 (specialty is Pacific war) and a massive amount on WW1 (a rare amount of familiarity with fire control and weapon systems).

I'm sure many here know my site: http://dreadnoughtproject.org

I'm glad to find another forum to while away my time on. I'd certainly love to hear from people on my BBS. It's traffic is low, but it is a pretty technical site, and focused on 1890-1920

Hi Tone, I've just logged on and had a very quick look at your site and will certainly have a deeper view when I get chance.
I am very impressed with the photograhs although I have only seen a handful. I should love to have a go at them!

Bob.

Do you mean digitally clean them up?
I take it the one you show is before and after?

I have one more album waiting to be scanned. I think it is from an American ship's crewman. I noted the identity I inferred for the ship -- it was USS Corsair, a converted millionaire's yacht for anti-sub patrol work.
