View Full Version : Looking For Pics from 1967 Fleet Review in Halifax.

I just came across a sealed plastic bag with a brass coin inside showing a St Laurent Class destroyer on one side and the Canadian Centennial 1967 Logo on the reverse. Does anyone have any pics of the Naval Review this coin represents?
I have a few Joseph Howe Dollars with another St. Laurent DDH on the reverse as well. Nice to have in the collection.

I also have that coin, we did lose alot of photos and film of the day, but still have a few that I have found over the net, that surprisingly, are simular, the photographer must have been sitting on the same hill as the Citidal where we were

shoot me a e mail and will send what i have, you may have found them yourself already though?

You Sir, in my opinion are a treasure trove of RCN photos, especially all the pics of the Sea Kings and Trackers. Rockets and bombs and sinking Sea Kings...wow....

Thank you - you're too kind! There's more, actually... but I think I got most of the better ones. And I'll give some thought to your "I would be interested in hearing from you about your coursing and training...", though anything will likely be of an overview nature and quite brief.

Great photos, like the Brador in Halifax, father was aboard during sea trials in that shot, are these yours, and if so any chance to get a copy of a few?
