Tall Ship Grand Turk

The attached photos were taken yesterday 18/03/10, whislt the ship was in Ramsgate. I understood from conversations with Harbour Staff that the vessel has been sold, and that this would be her last visit to the harbour.
She sailed today 19/03/10.
She merits a mention in this forum, as she has portrayed several Naval Ships during her film career.

Hi Shinysheff,
She was built as an exact replica of HMS BLANDFORD, a 6th Rate Frigate.
New owners are in France, so expect she will be in the nice warm Med from now on!!

She is often in Milford Haven with other ships when they hold the maritime week. Its always of great interest to the public and, regardless of whoever owns her now, I feel sure that she will continue to do the rounds of our ports.
