Hello,
The attached photograph was taken in March 1956 outside Fouquet’s restaurant on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. The sailors are wearing US Navy uniforms, but beyond that I know very little.
I am therefore hoping that someone here might recognise this photograph and be able to provide me with more information. I would especially like to know who these young men are, and what the occasion was. This would be a great help to me in my research.
