Hi Everyone.
Thanks to the moderators for ok-ing my membership to this forum. It's a grand place to be.
I am just generally looking for anything new regarding HMS Inglefield.
My late Father served aboard her during the war.
I have made up a facebook group in memory of that magnificent little ship so if any facebook members would like to join then please add yourselves at anytime. There is a nice collection of photographs that has a youtube link to cine footage of her when she was a brand new ship.

As well as seeing the Inglefield at work, you can also see the sterns of HMS Wren and HMS Achetes moored together in the dock when the camera pans around.

Best Regards Ian Thomas.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your time with us.

You may be interested in these two letters I have in my collection. Both from INGLEFIELD in 1941 and written to the same person as thanks for the "Comforts" she had provided.

Feel free to download them.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome Gerry.
And also thanks for sharing those letters too. They are a wonderful insight into the life of sailors on board the Inglefield. I have copied and posted those on the facebook group. Cheers for letting me use them.
Best Regards. Ian.
