I am trying to find English language sources of information about the establishment of Italian large calibre (12") coastal batteries during WW1. I have found several emplacements around Venice, some of which still exist (although the guns long since gone), and there are supposed to have been batteries around Genoa and Taranto but I keep getting a blank. Can anyone help?
