One minor, very minor, point, please don't north in the second coming of the Armada 'cos I think we might lose this time, especially as it is probably not PC to play bowls on that part of Plymouth Hoe now and the fact you have more ships than us......!!!

Oh, the crisis is hitting us all, and in a few years this list will be reduced. The old times of duels are gone, and our futures combats will be in the same line of the battle (while we address some small little affair in "La Verja", of course).

In memory of those old days will not return, a map of "Plemua" prepared by the spanish Secret Services for the invasion of 1596.

Totally agree! Many thanks for the olde mappe of Plymouth, that is absolutely brilliant. I hope you don't mind but I've downloaded that one.

There's more! Plymouth was dismissed as a landing place, like the Solent and Falmouth. Too strong. The plans of these ports were also drawn. They preserve the Naval Museum of Madrid, in the Deposito Hidrográfico. They are the work of an english catholic refugee, N. Lambert, which is only known that was an experienced pilot and shipowner who had to flee from England in the eighties years of the sixteenth century.

It was eventually decided to land in a fourth place. Question: Which one?
