I also tried the link, but assume that the original "untilxmas" message has now expired. We will just have to look out for it again this coming Christmas, which isn't so very far off, when you think about it:eek:

Hi Naval oo4 and Don.Harriers would certainly not face Mig29's face to face.But there was a manouver worked out with two Harriers,Chaff and somyhing to do with Doppler shift on the Migs Radar,where both would disappear in a cloud of chaff and only one would appear the leave the chaff cloud in a different direction,hoping that the mig would turn after that aircraft leaving a clear tail shot for the other Harrier. It was worked out against a German squadron flying Mig 29's in the aggressor role,like in Top Gun.This was carried out in the mid 90's at Nato's equivilent to Mirimar in the Med. Regards Steve.;)
