I am new to this list and know nothing of Service matters. I am trying to discover more of William James Alexander who I believe was a Stoker - Petty Officer on the "Australia"
He was a Suffolk man and at the time of his marriage in 1917 he lived at Trimley St. Mary, Suffolk where he stated he was the above in the Australian Navy.
Any clues where I can find out more of this man. Erica
