Lenny's Girl

My Grandfather was at Ypres during WW1 and then in the Home Guards (as he was deaf) during WW2. He passed away 35 years ago and my Mother and I made a remarkable discovery recently after finding a load of old tapes.
I played back hours or old pop songs and silly radio moments - suddenly there was a break and we realised we'd recorded Granddad singing during the early 70s!
The thing is - I can't trace the song on the internet although it is familiar to me as he used to sing it regularly, along with some war tunes that are more familiar to all.
The words are akin to:
135 is the number on the door
I've got a room on the third top floor
Any time yer out upon yer own
Just pop in and hear the gramophone
For there's always a bottle of something there
You don't have far to go (roam?)
Though humble it may be, it's a castle to me
'Cause it's my home sweet home.
If anyone knows where this comes from, I'd be grateful of any history.
I own his war-torn bible and some trinkets from that time.
