I am at present researching the history of my Great Grandfather Thomas Havrd who served in the Royal Navy from about 1859 to 1885. I have his Naval Record which shows what ships he served on, however he did spend time ashore at Naval Bases in Fethard, Southern Ireland and Chepstow I am trying to find information on these two locations, Any help would be appreciated.
