Does any one know if the journalists and tv news reporters, who sailed with the taskforce during the Falklands war, were ever awarded the South Atlantic medal. Kevin.

According to wikipedia civilians, including journalists were eligible. It only names one journalist that received the medal. But there may have been more.

I am fairly certain that both Michael Nicholson and Max Hastings got this medal-there were probably other TV journalists who also received it.
