Hi,
I was hoping someone might be able to answer this question. I plan on painting Italian ships from the First World War in 1:3000 scale.
Sources I've come across on the Web describe an initial dark blue gray paint scheme. Later on, as I understand, this moved to an almost white buff/beige color. And some sources report this scheme being alternated with the seasons.
Could someone provide any color plates to give an idea of these paint shades? If you could even recommend acrylic colors (provided you wargame or paint models), that would be great as well.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Aaron
