Hi. I am helping my uncle trace his uncle's naval career on HMS Sirius. Sorry not much info other than what uncle has sent me:
Name: James Joseph Edwards (Jim)
Born: Lowestoft, Suffolk. 24.6.1910 (accent bit of a give-away)
Served on board Sirius from launch? from 1940 throughout WWII including D-Day landings and also in Pacific (although not sure if still on Sirius then).
Believed to be on radar.
Sorry, information a bit vague but as passed on from my uncle.

Regards
Dave
