Welcome to the forum Dave - here are brief instructions on how to upload or post pictures...

Click on post new thread.
Find paperclip icon.
Click on that paperclip and it will take you to the "manage attachments box"
Click on the top "browse" button and it will take you to the place on your computer where you have your pics - when you see the pic you want to load just double click on it.

You need to have your pictures stored as JPEG rather than Bitmap images to get the best results.
If for any reason they are not stored as JPEGs then let me know and I will tell you how to change them over...
Repeat where needed depending on how many pics you want to load [up to 10] when finished
click on "upload" and wait for your list of pics to vanish - then click on the send button on the original reply box and you should be there!
Once you have done this it soon becomes very easy!:):)

Question
Are there crew photos available of different RCN ships (back in the day) I have found a few on the web of my father, such as the Quebec and Cornwallis base, would like to find others? I would think there should be at least commishioning photo of the HMCS Anapolis?

Thank you

Looks as if your dad & I served together on Annapolis for awhile although
I'm afraid I don't recall the name.

My name is Lew Knighton and I was an ABHM from Jan 18/66 - Dec 1/66

Wish I had a few pictures to share with you but sadly I took very few back then.

He was a diver on board in 68, I had a good shot of him jumping out of a seaking, plus a bunch of 35 mil film during exercises, my brother and I used to be aloud on board for short stints

Here is a nice pic of her coming into harbour in 1968
plus with the queen mother outside of Halifax, dad was on the bow in his whites

MY Father was in the Huron, Granby and Micmac at roughly the same times, unfortunately he passed some time ago.

Welcome !
