Thanks Terry, all the pics of the TRACKER are either blurry or taken too far away but will keep on trying, if I finally get a good one of her then I will post it.

Dave.

Not a picture of TRACKER, but one taken onboard that ship.
Half the crew of CEYLON were accommodated in TRACKER whilst the ship was in refit in Spring of 1958.
I'm the one crouched down......Roy Warnes behind me, Dave Harwood without cap, but name of other chap escapes me.
'Y' turret in background.

I thought that finding a picture of Tracker had already been covered somewhere in the forum but just in case here is an example.

Many thanks for that one, I was on her most of 1957, whilst we stored the Victorious, you probably got my bunk.
It was a great year, but really hard work for a skinny sixteen year old, at least I had a blue card and didn't get lumbered with Juniors Midnight leave restrictions.

Thanks for that Terry, my copy was very low resolution.

Thanks for the photo of Tracker Terry, much better than the one I had.
Dave - Tracker became a harbour accomodation ship in 1958 and then a net and boom carrier in 1964. Sold Italy 1970 and scrapped Valencia 1971.

Hi Barry........me too...........young 16yr old, we had bunks (cor, height of luxury) off passageway in TRACKER, with messdeck tables & lockers fitted on Tank Deck. Other than for Saturday rounds, I actually worked onboard CEYLON.
