hello to everybody that takes the time to read this. i know this is something of a long-shot but it's worth a try. i'm looking for anyone who may have served on either of the following ships with my grandfathers: the first is the hms prince of wales. my grandfather - frederick william robert tero (known as sam) was a royal marine on this ship during the atlantic charter conference and saw the prime minister on deck. the other is the hmy bounty. my other grandfather - ernest fenton was on this boat during dunkirk and was awarded a medal (the name of which escapes me) for extreme bravery. i know bits and pieces about both men but would love to hear anything - however small - from anyone that might remember them, not only for me and my parents, but my own children too. any information would be extremely gratefully received, thankyou.

Your grandfather AB P/JX145044 Ernest Fenton was awarded the D.S.M

A photo and information on HMY Bounty can be found on The Association of Dunkirk Little Ships website. www.adls.org.uk .

Hope this helps
