The Great Ships
British Battleships in WW11

Dispite the title this book actually begins with world war 1 and runs thru the inter war years and into world war 11 ,
one of the chapters that i found to be most interesting was the period between the wars when Britain agreed to curtail the
building of Battle ships in order to bring about a level of equality among the worlds navy's, and also the chapter relating to the French navy
and the Vichy government ,overall i found the whole book to be very interesting , as it built upon the many posts that i have followed thru this Forum,
and would make it a must read book for anyone like me starting out to learn about naval battles ,however having said this i would say that i would have liked more detail regarding the British Pacific Fleet , and also if like me you are researching naval vessels other than Battle ships they don't realy get a mention
but despite that a great read
