Hi Keith. nothing is barred from this site, many ex rn, army, raf, civies. only a general interest in ships, not just rn as u will find if u explore.

The RM is as much a part of the RN and grey paint and shiny brass tallies, when Maggie appointed my late father to the House of Lords he found he was entitled to a family coat of arms, crest, he chose a sailor as supporter on one side and a marine on the other. I will post a copy of the original art work later. There is a cannon in the middle emphasising that branch of the service almost equal to stokers, gunnery! mind you, you get Marine gunners but do you get Marine stokers or is this just too aspirational?
