I have an old post card post marked 1910 showing a view from Empress of India of 'Liberty Men Going Ashore'. There are several other vessels in the background which someone has written HMS Contest, Banshee, Dragon, Ferret & Lynx in pencil on rear of postcard. (all Banshee Class TB's I think) All date from around 1894 from what I can find out.
Anyone know what the Liberty Men were? There is a smaller vessel towing a dozen smaller rowing boats with crew in them.
The postcard has Royal Navy No 12 printed on the front - possibly taken in Milford Haven waterway (Empress of India was built in Pembroke)
Can supply a scan of card if anyone can help.
