I have had a great deal of help from members of this website but I still have a few I's to dot with regard to my Uncles Service Certificate

On some of the ships he served on I need to Know what and when happened to them as I am led to believe by relatives that my uncle had two if not three lots of survivors Leave when torpedoed

to this end I am trying to find out "IF" the ships he served on were in fact torpedoed and when

As I have stated on another thread, he has an entry in the " Wounds received in action" section which says WSI [3] and I am trying to find out what in actual fact all these bits of the jigsaw mean and if they interlock

The Ships in question are as follows with the dates he served on them:-

HMS BADGER 17 May 43 till 18 March 44
HMS PUFFIN 19 March 44 " 14 May 45
HMS WALDERGRAVE 9 June 45 " 16 June 45

I have a pretty good idea about the other ships but not these unless anyone knows of a ship refereed to as "Golden Hind" which it has been suggested may be a shore base in Australia as he also served on HMS ADAMANT from Sept 45 till 28 June 46

Any help would be very welcome please
