Just read your Ad and i'm too looking for any info/photo's for my dad he served on HMS Forth 19th june 1954 as the ships cook, His name is Derek Hunter, Does your dad know him?

Debbie, welcome to the forum.

Hms Forth has been discussed on various threads on the forum and there are several photo's of the ship. You can find the related threads by using the search facility on the blue border above.

Unfortunately, Christopher whose post you responded to only visited the forum the following day after placing his message and has not visited us since, so sadly it's unlikely he will see your post.

Hopefully there may be others that see your request and will reply.

If you need any help in anyway please ask as there are several members all too willing to help you.

We would also love to hear any stories you may know of regarding your Dad's service and any photo's you may have would be more than welcome.
