Hi All,
i'm putting this on here our of shear hope really. Is there anyone out there that could help me get in contact with someone who would know where to find Russian Naval Records from WW1. I have written to their archives in St Petersburg, of which i think they were in the middle of moving so heard nothing back.
I'm hoping they would have items such as Medal lists issued to British submariners during WW1, and maybe travel documents issued to them on their travels to and from the country. I know they exist as i do have a couple which i got through the RNSM in Gosport.
Getting a contact over there would be of great help.
Kind regards,
DB.

Hi John,
yes i have seen this, mostly as i gave them all this information, and have also give the Chatham site their information on the crews. I only know this chap received the Russian Cross of St george through diary entries where it is mentioned. However there should be Russian Medal lists but trying to get a contact to help is my main issue.
Kind regards,
DB.
