While organising my image collection, I found these aerial pictures of the German naval base Wilhelmshaven in 1918, which I found somewhere on the internet years ago. I thought they may be of interest, I think visible are, Baden or Bayern, Stuttgart after conversion to a seaplane carrier, Brummer or Bremse and other light cruisers, von der Tann, some disarmed pre-dreadnoughts and several torpedo boats

Dave,

The battleship is BADEN, the vessel in the top right hand corner is either DERFFLINGER or HINDENBURG (it is not very clear).

Best Wishes

Interesting pics Dave. My stepfather was serving with the British Army Of The Rhine in the 50's and I went to boarding school at Wilhelmshaven, hence my interest in your pics. You don't have any more do you by any chance? I have lost my pictures from there many years ago.
Regards.
