I am researching my Grandfather (Phillip Thomas Reid b Wales 1899 ). I have a photo of him as a young lad in uniform with a hat that has a band with HMS Impregnable embossed on it. Any infomation I would be greatfull.

HMS Impregnable was a Training Ship originally named HMS Howe. She was also named HMS Bulwark twice in her career and was, I believe, scrapped in 1921. There should be plenty of references to this vessel on the web.
