And Good Morning to you Sheila! A fine Australian name!
Welcome to the forum. I do hope you enjoy your time here and you will stay and join in our discussions.
Hello Sheila and welcome .
I am sure many of us would like to assist you but in order to do so, some accurate or approximate dates would help a great deal. for instance HMS Hyacinth has had many forms. As one of our moderators will no doubt point out there is another annexe to this site which you may find useful.http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/royal.htm Here is "Hyacinth" as a light Cruiser (Hermes Class) c1900
I hope you are successful in your search.
PS. We all promise as our creed decrees that any dates you give us will not be computed to discover your age. LOLOL

Hello Shiela, I know this post is quite old but i'm new to the site.
My father served on HMS Melbreak and I'm just in the process of building a site of his Naval service.
