USS Panther Crew Pics

Here are some photos we have managed to get of early US Navy crews. Three photos of the armed merchant ship USS Panther. We were given c.1897 as a date for these photos, but the ship was not taken over by the navy until 1898, so we assume it is early on in the ship's naval career, especially given that one of the photos specifically states 'USS Panther' rather than a merchant identifier - and this was written on the photo at the time.
