U.S.S. IOWA Crew Members?

I'm looking for as many former crew members as I can find. Some of you might be aware of the situation in 2005 where the city of San Francisco snubbed the idea of berthing Battleship Iowa, well I just read an article from the S.F. Newspaper, saying that she may be scrapped or sunk. I've decided to fight this tooth and nail. It's my intention to find a permanent berth for her, where she'll be honored and loved.
I've started some wheels turning, but I need some human resources to focus on this.
Any former crew members, or families of the deceased, or anyone who doesn't want to see this grand lady meet a dishonorable end,
