Well welcome to the forum. You didn`t tell us anything about yourself or your particular interests.
I apologise.
Doing a bit of research on my late Grandfather who served in WW1 in The Navy.
Enlisted 1915, spent most of WW1 on Furious (Trondern raid) in the north sea.
He started as SBA at Haslar, Furious, Victory II, Revenge, Malta and finally retired 1940. Finished as SBCPO.
Me, ex Army now in security soon to retire (optional)

You are very welcome here!
You don't of course have to tell us anything about yourself but it's nice to get an idea of who you are and why you're here.
You will find things here on Army matters to interest you. It's not just Royal Navy though it sure looks like it is.
If we can help with information on your grandfather, we'll need to have some more details.
Retire! It's the way to go!

Thanks for that Sividar, it is always useful to have a bit of background about interests.
Do you know much about your grandfathers time aboard the Furious - or are you starting from scratch to try and get more of an idea?
Hi,
Yes I have all, well most of his original papers, jst searching the ships he served on as to what and where they were at the time. Victory and Furious I'm pretty done with at this time. Next quest, HMS Revenge Oct 1931 - July 1934.
Also HMS Bacchante.:)

Great picture of the Furious. That reminds me I have a huge framed photo of the carrier [c.1918] up in the attic somewhere!
I will see what I can dig out for you of the Revenge during the period you mentioned...
