USS Ohio 1920-1913

While going through my parents things, I came across a collection of around 100 photo/post cards that were my grandfathers, Fred W. Hartel. He must have gotten them when he was in the US Navy between 1910-1913. He was a bugler on the USS Ohio. Most of the photos are of the ship and ship activities. There also photos of the Main being scuttled and the Panama Canal. Does anyone know about photo/post cards like these?

Hi welcome to the forum.
If it is of any help I collect postcards of warships or related naval subjects from all the worlds navies. I have around 3,500.
The majority of warship postcards come from the period 1905-1930 as that was the "golden age" of the postcard - but they continued to be sold throughout the 1950`s and beyond albeit in much smaller numbers.
If you look at my posts I have uploaded a large number of mine so that members can also appreciate them.
