and my interests naval are both historical as well as modelmaking.

I have already found some splendid photos of HMS Scylla( WW2)- thanks Palco!

I generally prefer building small scale models --mostly 1/700, based mainly on short-run Resin kits.

I think this site will be a wonderful resource--obviously I hope to contribute interesting images as and when I find them.

My modelships can be viewed in my gallery page at Modelwarships.com- link below

My most recent completed model was k-class submarine K22

My true interest is however pre-dreadnoughts--the more bizarre... the better!!

Welcome to the forum Jim. I am not sure what happened to your images but they appear not to have loaded. Have you tried Jpeg rather than Bitmap?

Hello Jim
If you do not have a copy yet 'Battleships of WWI' '72 edited by Anthony Preston, is a good place to start, the Russian (including some Japanese prizes) and the French would seem to fit your interests.

Hello Again Jim
I was just looking at your site with the models, the SMS Radetzky in particular. I especially like the Austro-Hungarian warships of the period. And I remember seeing a model of the Radetzky at a train show in a case. It must have been built in 1/96 scale as it was about five feet long. I told my wife that if I had the money I would have bought it and built my model railroad in that period and style to service that ship as a center piece, but I did not have $1,500.00 to spare at the time, or now for that matter.
