Here are two newly scanned images. They show groups of soldiers in WW1, but with little clue as to who they are. I have also scanned the crests worn on the caps in these photos, and given all the information we have available with each one. Any ideas anyone?

This first photo shows a group of Lance-Corporals and Corporals. The photographer was from Scarborough. There are at least two different cap crests worn here, of which this : http://www.armynavyairforce.co.uk/images/mil0004_crest.jpg is one.

This photo was supplied with a date - 4th May 1917 - and the letters G.S.M. which could be to do with the photographer rather than the soldiers. Could not get a decent scan of a cap badge.

Hope someone can throw some light on these groups
