The following broached medal is to William Chambers born in Newington, Kent on 28 December 1836. Dark complexion with Lt. Hazel eyes and Black hair.

Chambers was serving as a Gunners’ Mate aboard HMS Pembroke upon his re-engagement for CS of 10 years on April 30, 1861. No: 16556a. Re-Engagemnet for an additional 10 years April 30, 1871 SN 62481

Without seeing his ADM 29 records, Chambers misses every naval action that takes place between 1861 and 1880 thus possibly making his LSGC his only entitlement. None the less a nice addition and an early engraved narrow with "M" exude.
