I would like to say hello to the people out there. I have found this community to be very helpful and informative. I started looking into my granddad's naval history after my granny died a couple of years ago. This website and the sister website www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk, have been helpful in finding out who he was. The information about the ships and the personal experiences have help me to have a better understanding of what it was like for him. I would like to thank the people that have been members of the naval forces over the past two hundreds for giving me the chance to learn more about their experiences. Thank you Islay Shore
