Thought I would make a thread... (will probably get told there is already one or it doesn't make discussion)
But this site is pretty big and hard for new members to know what has already been posted (yes I did a quick search) and yes I did find a few but was well deep in another thread.
Any way here is a few pics of ex RNZN patrol boats that have been converted to Civi leasure crafts.
These have all been found on the web, and believe they are all up for sale... again.
First batch is an IPC the Moa class. Unfortunately I don't know which one.

Lake class Patrol Boat. Found this one on TradeMe.
Not Sure but I thinkthe Blue and white, her Pennant Number use to Be P-3573. and Little Eagle P-3568 (HMNZS Pukaki- which I served on)
P3568 - HMNZS Pukaki (ZMZL)
P3569 - HMNZS Rotoiti (ZMZM)
P3570 - HMNZS Taupo (ZMZN)
P3571 - HMNZS Hawea (ZMZO)

Excellent stuff. Always interesting seeing what happens to ex naval craft. How were the Moa class to ride in? They look top heavy!
Post 1 - The first 3 shots of 'Flightless' - she was MOA (hence the derivation of her new name.) The remainder are of ex WAKAKURA, still berthed in Wellington. I'm not sure of her current ownership.

Thanks NighthawkNZ, what a great idea ! It is good to see the old ladies still looking smart in their new roles. Take a look at the thread 'RNZN Fairmiles B & MLs' , you will see a member Geoff Brebner has posted recent photos and details of these craft. For example, my old 'Mako' is over in Oz and looking good.

The forth image said it was berthed in Nelson. Moa - Flightless makes sense lol
The fourth image - of Wakakura starboard side to adjacent to a large shed - is definitely Wellington. Thats the shed on the outer T of Queens Wharf.

The blue and white is the Hawea P3571 and the one called Little Eagle was The Taupo P3570, that now is in upper NSW.
