View Full Version : Permission To Come Onboard Please?
I have only just found this website and joined for the duration of the commission.
By way of introduction, I am ex-Royal Navy. I retired from full time civilian employment in May 2007 and am currently fully employed researching my family history. I am also always interested in Naval History, as well as dabbling in photography. I am also a member of ShipsNostalgia - in my opinion an excellent website.
Best wishes

Same warm welcome from me as well Alick! It is always great to have a poster join who lives in the same county as myself.
Look forward very much when you have the time to hearing of your experiences aboard such diverse ships as Eagle, Ocean, Carron and Carysfort...

I moved here fifteen years ago - I was in corporate sales for forty years. I retired last year.

And a ditto from me Alick. Isn't it refreshing to have someone fill in the public profile section without being tied to the grating and lashed severely. It sort of gives a small peep at the person behind all the words. If you all haven't gathered yet this was a gentle hint.LOLOL:)
Lots of good cruises ahead Alick

Hi Alick, welcome aboard.
This is the twelfth post since you joined, how about a bit of action!
By that I mean a couple of stories or some Photies!
Bob.
Phew Bob I was getting worried for Alick there for a minute. Glad you explained yourself. :D
