3rd June 1896 - Launched
1899 - Channel Squadron
8th December 1899 - Capt. L.E Wintz in Command
8th December 1899 - Arrived Las Palmas from Funchal
1900 - Channel Squadron
25th February 1900 - In poor state of repair
19th May 1900 - Boer Plot to Sink Furious
7th July 1900 - Participated in the Summer Fleet Manoeuvres
12th August 1900 - Arrived Sheerness, with a damaged propellor
December 1900 - Detached from the squadron for patrol duty between Gibraltar and Cape Town
8th December 1900 - Arrived at Las Palmas with her machinery in a defective condition
1901 - Channel Squadron
23rd July 1901 - Arrived St. Peter Port
1902 - Channel Squadron
16th August 1902 - Coronation Review at Spithead
