7th MSF, 6th MSF, 5th MSF Allocated to 7th Minesweeper Flotilla. 31st July 1944, sailed for Mediterranean. Allied landings south coast of France 13th August 1944.(Operation Dragoon) Beached at Poros, East Coast of Greece, 16th October 1944 after being badly damaged by a mine the previous day during Operation Edgehill. Out of action for the rest of WWII. Sold to Italy in 1946. |
