12th February 1940 - Sailed Plymouth to search for the German ships which had escaped from Vigo
15th February 1940 - Arrived Plymouth
22nd February 1940 - Searched for submarines NW of Cape Finisterre
27th February 1940 - Renamed HMS Hesperus to avoid phonetic confusion with destroyer leader HMS Hardy
26th November 1946 - Scrapped at Grangemouth
