HMS Naiad. Built by Hawthorn Leslie and launched 3rd February 1939 and completed 24th July 1940. HMS naiad served in the Home fleet between 1940 till 1941 going to the Mediterranean 194`1- 1942, she was sunk by U-565 of Crete 11th March 1942. Specifications for HMS Dido, HMS Euryalus, HMS Naiad, HMS Phoebe, HMS Sirius, HMS Bonaventure, HMS Hermione, HMS Charybdis, HMS Cleopatra, HMS Scylla and HMS Argonaut. Displacement: 5,450 tons Speed: 33kts Complement: 530 (556 as a Flagship) Armament: Ten 5.25 inch de-perming guns in pairs. Eight 2pdr anti-aircraft guns in fours as well as eight 0.5 inch machine guns in fours. Six 21 inch torpedo tubes in threes.

HMS Charybdis as completed with a main armament of eight 4.5ins guns in pairs. Machine guns were replaced by six 20mm AA guns.		The crew of HMS Charybdis sent in by Stuart Jackson.
