L'histoire navale du cuirassé francais Courbet, Jean Bart, Paris et France, depuis son chaloupe et les événements importants de sa vie.

The Courbet class French battleships included Courbet, Jean Bart, Paris and France. These French battleships saw service during the first world war.

The Courbet Class French battleships were designed by M Lyasse. and were part of the 1910 naval programme, (Courbet and Jean Bart), with the rest as part of the 1910 naval building programme  

La classe de Courbet les cuirassés français ont inclus Courbet, Jean A Barré, Paris et France. Ces cuirassés français ont vu le service pendant la première guerre de monde.

La Classe de Courbet les cuirassés français ont été conçus par M Lyasse. et faisaient partie de la 1910 émission navale, (Courbet et Jean Ont Barré), avec le repos comme la partie de la 1910 émission de bâtiment navale

  Displacement: 22189 tons to 23,500 tons, normal  and a full load weight of 25,850 to 26,000 tons,  Speed: 20knots, (22 knots + during trials  )

  Range: 4,200 nautical miles at 10 knots,  or 1140 nautical miles at full speed (20 knots).  Compliment: 1085 to 1100.   Armament: Twelve  305mm (12-inch) main guns in pairs, Twenty two 138.6mm (5.4-inch) guns and Four 47mm. guns plus Four 450mm (17.7-inch) torpedo tubes  submerged.  They carried 100 305mm Shells for each gun,  and 275 shells for each of the secondary guns, Twelve Torpedoes and originally 30 mines.

COURBET..  Part of the 1910 navy programme, on her trials she exceeded her designed speed doing 22 knots.  Built by Arsenal de Brest and launched 23rd September 1911 and completed 19th November 1913. at the outbreak of World war One along with her three sister ships , Courbet went to the Mediterranean, becoming Flagship to Vice-Admiral Boue de Lapeyrere.   After World War one this class of ship became obsolete, and were not refitted, (their was not a large enough Dry dock.).  She did however get a upgraded fire control,  and new boiler, (which were the boilers intended for the new Normandie class Battleships) fitted.  Along with her sister ship Paris,  which were being used as training ships. were taken over by the Royal navy while in British Ports. and used as AA guardship. and then transferred to the FNFL. Finally she was expended as part of the Normandie breakwater on the 9th June 1944.

France: Built by A C de la Loire at St Nazaire and launched 7th November 1912 completed August 1914.  The battleship along with her sister ship Jean Bart were on a official Visit to St Petersburg in July 1914, and only just managed to get out of the Baltic before the outbreak of war, France was not fully armed and had no ammunition on board. She was transferred to the Mediterranean fleet and was part of the fleet that in 1919 took part in the Sevastopol operations. But on the 26th August 1922 she was lost in the Quiberon Bay after foundering.

   JEAN BART.  . went to St Setersburg  along with France on a official visit in July 1914. and jsut managed to leave the Baltic area at the outbreak of world war one. She was transferred along with her sister ships to the Mediterranean from august 1914. she was damaged when torpedoed by Austro Hungarian U-Boat U12. which hit the wine store but the magazine store  near by remained un touched.  after the war she was continued in service and in 1931 became a training ship was disarmed in 1938 and renamed Ocean (only as a hulk)  during her refit she has her forward funnels replaced with one single funnel and a tripod foremast.  in a second refit she has some new boilers fitted but reconstruction was halted.  On the 7th March 1944 she was damaged during an allied air raid and o the 15th March 1944 the Germans used her for Explosive trials and she was sunk.

Paris 28th September 1912 Sold for scrapping on 21st December 1955.

La France : Construit par UN C de la Loire à St Nazaire et lancé septième le 1912 novembre complété le 1914 août. Le cuirassé avec son Jean de bateau de soeur A Barré était sur une Visite officielle à St Pétersbourg en juillet 1914, et a géré juste pour sortir de la Baltique avant l'éruption de guerre, France n'a pas été entièrement armée et n'a pas été eue de munitions à bord. Elle a été transférée à la flotte méditerranéenne et faisait partie de la flotte qui dans 1919 a pris la partie dans les opérations de Sevastopol. Mais sur le 26e le 1922 août elle a été perdue dans la Baie de Quiberon après avoir sombré.

COURBET. La partie de la 1910 émission de marine, sur ses procès elle a dépassé sa vitesse conçue fait 22 noeuds. Construit par l'Arsenal du plus Britannique et lancé 23e le 1911 septembre et complété dix-neuvième le 1913 novembre. à l'éruption de guerre de Monde l'Un avec son trois bateaux de soeur, Courbet est allé à la méditerranée, devenant Phare à Boue de Vice-Amiral de Lapeyrere. Après la Guerre de Monde l'un cette classe de bateau est devenue desuète, et n'ont pas été remis en état, (leur n'était pas un assez grand bassin Sec.). Elle a fait cependant obtient un contrôle amélioré de feu, et la nouvelle chaudière, (qui étaient les chaudières voulues pour les nouveaux Cuirassés de classe de Normandie) a ajusté. Avec son Paris de bateau de soeur, qui étaient utilisé comme entraînant des bateaux. ont été repris par la marine Royale pendant que dans les Ports britanniques. et a utilisé comme AA guardship. et alors transféré au FNFL. Finalement elle a été dépensée comme la partie du brise-lames de Normandie sur le neuvième le 1944 juin.

JEAN A BARRE. . Est allé à St Setersburg avec France sur une visite officielle en juillet 1914. et jsut a géré pour partir le secteur Balte à l'éruption de guerre de monde l'un. Elle a été transférée avec ses bateaux de soeur à la méditerranée du 1914 août. elle a été endommagée quand torpedoed par Austro l'U-BATEAU hongrois U12. qui a frappé la cave à vin mais le magasin de revue près de par un resté a touché. Après la guerre qu'elle a été continuée en service et dans 1931 est devenue un bateau d'entraînement a été désarmé dans 1938 et Océan renommé (seulement comme une épave) pendant elle remet en état elle a ses entonnoirs effrontés remplacés avec un entonnoir seul et un mât de misaine de trépied. Dans une seconde remet en état elle a quelques nouvelles chaudières ajustées mais reconstruction a été arrêtée. Sur le septième le 1944 mars elle a été endommagée pendant une attaque AERIENNE et o allié le 15e le 1944 mars les Allemands l'a utilisée pour les procès Explosifs et elle a été coulée.
