Chasseur Class.
French destroyers of the Chasseur Class. Photos and history of the
French destroyers of the Chasseur Class of 1909 / 1910, including
Chasseur, Janissaire, Fantassin and Cavalier.
Sunk 5th June 1916, due to being rammed by Mameluk, in
the Mediterranean and so badly damaged she had to be sunk by gun
fire from Fauconneau
Cavalier
9th May 1910
After a collision with Fantassin, she was put into Malta
for repairs where she had her torpedo tubes removed. she then became a
training ship for Stockers and divers. stricken in December 1927
