FFH340 St John's approaching Faslane Naval Base on the Gareloch, Scotland, 10th October 2004.

The Canadian Frigate escorting the damaged submarine HMCS Chicoutimi to the Scottish Base.  The submarine had been handed over to the Canadian Navy from the British Navy (ex - HMS Upholder) on Saturday, 2nd October 2004, at Faslane.  An incident (fire?) on board left her without power in the Irish Sea during the following week.  She returned to Faslane on the following Sunday (10th), escorted by FFH340 St John's,  British frigate F236 HMS Montrose, and tugs.
