and 12,207 tons full load. Speed: 32.5 knots to 34 knots,
Range 10,000 nm. at 15 knots. Crew has been quoted at 868 and also 1300
? Armament: Fifteen 6 inch guns, Eight 5inch AA Guns and
four aircraft.
USS Brooklyn was built
at New York navy Yard and launched 30 November 1936 and commissioned
18th July 1938. During the war USS Brooklyn served in North Africa,
Sicily, Anzio and South France. survived the war and finally
sold the the Chilean navy becoming the cruiser O'HIGGINS.

served in North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, Anzio and S. France,
Finally sold the Brazil becoming the Cruiser Barroso |

USS Savannah was built at New York SB and launched
8th May 1937 and commissioned 30th August 1938. during the war she
served in North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, where she was damaged Finally
sold and scrapped at Baltimore February 1960 |

USS Nashville was built at New York SB and launched
2nd October 1937 and commissioned 25th November 1938. during the
war (1943 - 1944 ) she served in New Guinea, Leyte when she
was badly damaged by Kamikaze on the 13th December 1944, returning
to action Mindoro Borneo, Pacific Raids. After the war she was sold to the
Chilean Navy in 1951 becoming the cruiser Prat |

USS Boise
USS Boise was built at New York News and launched 3rd
December 1936 and commissioned 1st February 1939. during the
war she served in the Far East, Cape Esperance where she was
damaged, Sicili, Salerno, Hollandia, Leyte, Mindoro, Lingayen and
Borneo . After the war she was sold to the Argentinean Navy in
April 1951 becoming the cruiser De Julio |

served at Pearl \harbor, Tassafaronga, New Georgia, Kula Gulf where she
was damaged, Saipan, Guam, Palau, and Leyte where she was torpedoed.
survived the war and finally scrapped in January 1960 at Baltimore |
