Bragadin Class Italian Submarines.  Photos and history of the Italian submarines of the Bragadin Class launched 1929 - 1930, including Marcantonio Bragadin and Filippo Corridoni.

Built as mine laying submarines, Marcantonio Bragadin was laid down with the name Marcantonio Bragadino but the name corrected before launch, but often the incorrect name was used in official naval documents.

 Costruito come il mio collocando dei sottomarini, Marcantonio Bragadin è stato giù messo col nome Marcantonio Bragadino ma il nome corretto prima che lancia, ma spesso il nome inesatto è stato usato nei documenti ufficiali navali.

Displacement: 981 tons surfaced, submerged 1085 tons.  Crew: 56  Speed: 14 knots surfaced, 7.3 knots submerged.  Armament: One 4-inch gun with Two 13.2 mm,  Four 21 inch Torpedo Tubes carrying 6 torpedo tubes.  Two of the torpedo tuebs were sued for dispensing Mines, carrying a total of 16 to 24 mines depending type of mine carried.
